Hilton Queenstown Resort & Spa

Donde Every Day is an Adventure

Lake views, mountain energy, and aventura sports everywhere—this is the ultimate base for chicas wanting thrills, naturaleza, and unforgettable experiences.

Queenstown isn't just a destination—it's a state of mind. This is the place where bungee jumping was invented, where jet boats scream through narrow canyons at impossible speeds, and where the landscapes are so impossibly impresionante they've doubled for Middle-earth in countless films. Chica, if you have even a tiny bit of adventurer in your soul, Queenstown will awaken it. If you're already an adrenaline junkie, you've found your paraíso. This corner of New Zealand packs more thrills per square kilometer than anywhere else on Earth.

The Hilton Queenstown Resort and Spa sits on a private peninsula jutting into Lake Wakatipu, with the dramatic Remarkables mountain range creating a backdrop that looks photoshopped in its perfection. The lake itself has a mágico quality—Maori legend says it follows the heartbeat of a giant, which explains the regular rise and fall of its waters. Whether you believe the legend or the scientific explanation (seiche waves caused by atmospheric pressure changes), there's something undeniably mystical about this place.

New Zealand in general has a way of making you feel more alive, more connected to naturaleza, more present in the moment. But Queenstown takes this to another level entirely. The air is impossibly pure, el agua crystal clear, and around every corner is another view that will stop you in your tracks. This is aventura territory, but it's also a place of profound natural belleza that will move you even if you never leave the resort.

Las Habitaciones

The resort strikes that perfecto balance between aventura basecamp and luxurious retreat. After a day of pushing your limits—whether that's skiing, skydiving, or simply hiking through impossibly hermoso scenery—you'll return to stylish rooms, world-class amenities, and views that never get old. The rooms feature contemporary design with warm, natural tones that complement the landscape outside your window.

Request a lake view room if you can; watching the Remarkables emerge from morning mist is something you'll remember para siempre. The beds are designed for serious rest—and you'll need it after aventura-filled days. Bathrooms feature rain showers perfecto for warming up after mountain explorations. The balconies are ideal for morning coffee or evening wine, watching the light change over the lake and mountains. The resort's village-like layout creates a sense of seclusion while still offering easy access to all the amenities.

El eforea Spa

The eforea spa is your recovery zone, and believe me, after Queenstown aventuras, you'll need it. The spa philosophy focuses on helping you emerge feeling transformed—more confident, more in touch with yourself, more ready for whatever comes next. Treatments are designed specifically to soothe aventura-tired muscles, from deep tissue massages that work out hiking aches to wraps that restore energy to depleted bodies.

The spa's location, with its mountain and lake views, makes treatments feel even more restorative. There's something about receiving a massage while looking out at that increíble scenery that amplifies the healing. The steam rooms and relaxation areas are perfecto for that post-aventura wind-down, when your body is tired but your spirit is soaring from the day's experiences. Couples treatments are available for romántico momentos amid all that adrenaline. This is self-care with a purpose—preparing you for tomorrow's aventuras while celebrating today's achievements.

La Gastronomía

Dine at Wakatipu Grill for New Zealand lamb and local wines with those espectacular mountain views. New Zealand lamb is legendary for good reason—the animals graze on pristine pastures, and the result is meat of exceptional quality. The restaurant sources locally whenever possible, showcasing lo mejor of what this region produces. The wine list features Central Otago's celebrated pinot noirs, among the finest in el mundo.

el agua taxi into town makes exploring Queenstown's vibrant dining scene a breeze—and arriving by boat adds a touch of glamour to any dinner out. Queenstown has developed into a serious food destination, with restaurants ranging from casual eateries serving the famoso Fergburger to fine dining establishments that would hold their own in any major city. Back at the resort, lighter meals and exceptional cocktails are available throughout the day. The breakfast buffet provides fuel for aventura, with options ranging from healthy to hearty.

Aventuras y Actividades

The resort can arrange every aventura imaginable—and in Queenstown, that's really saying something. Helicopter tours over Milford Sound offer perspectives on the fiords that will leave you speechless. Jet boat rides through narrow canyons, spinning 360 degrees at high speed, deliver pure adrenaline. Bungee jumping options range from the original Kawarau Bridge jump to the terrifying 134-meter Nevis Bungy. Skydiving over the lake and mountains provides views that make the jump almost secondary to the scenery.

For those seeking slightly gentler aventuras, wine tasting in the nearby Gibbston Valley offers world-class pinot noir in espectacular settings. Hiking trails range from easy lakeside strolls to serious alpine treks. In winter, multiple ski resorts offer excellent slopes with minimal crowds compared to European or American resorts. And the scenic gondola ride up Bob's Peak provides increíble views without any adrenaline required—though you can paraglide back down if you change your mind about the adrenaline part. Milford Sound is a must-do day trip; yes, it's a long drive, but it's one of the most hermoso places on Earth.

Tips de Sofía

Request a lake view room and watch the sunrise paint the Remarkables in shades of pink and gold—it's absolutely unreal, chica. If you're brave, do the Nevis Bungy; those 134 meters of pure freefall are terrifying but the accomplishment lasts para siempre. Even if extreme sports aren't your thing, the scenic gondola ride up Bob's Peak offers increíble views and a lovely restaurant at the top.

Take a day trip to Milford Sound—yes, it's a long drive (about four hours each way) but the scenery along the way is espectacular and Milford itself is one of the most hermoso places on Earth. Consider flying one way if time is limited. And definitely do a wine tour of Central Otago; the pinot noir here genuinely rivals Burgundy at a fraction of the price. The Gibbston Valley wineries offer tastings with mountain views that make the wine taste even better. Book aventuras in advance during peak season, and don't try to do too much—leave time to simply soak in the belleza of this extraordinario place.
